The\nTabular Matrix Problems via Pseudoinverse Estimation (TMPinv)\nis a two-stage estimation method that reformulates structured\ntable-based systems - such as allocation problems, transaction\nmatrices, and input-output tables - as structured least-squares\nproblems. Based on the Convex Least Squares Programming (CLSP)\nframework, TMPinv solves systems with row and column\nconstraints, block structure, and optionally reduced\ndimensionality by (1) constructing a canonical constraint form\nand applying a pseudoinverse-based projection, followed by (2)\na convex-programming refinement stage to improve fit,\ncoherence, and regularization (e.g., via Lasso, Ridge, or\nElastic Net).",
